Unprecedented weather cancels show.
Following the recent adverse weather conditions, it is with regret that the Yealmpton Agricultural Association Committee have had to announce the cancellation of the 125th show which was due to be held on Wednesday 25th July at Kitley Lawns, Yealmpton.
A full day of entertainment had been organised with the main ring featuring a spectacular display from James Dylan Stuntworld and his experienced team of stunt riders. The local branches of the Pony Club were due to compete in the Prince Philip Cup Mounted Games and the South Hams Dog Agility Team was geared up to put their talented canines through their paces with a flyball display.
A new feature at this year’s show was to be the Food Hall where local producers had planned to display some of their wonderful local delicacies.
The committee would like to extend their gratitude to the President, Mrs Josie Bastard and her family for their continuing support and generosity in allowing the Association to use Kitley Lawns each year.
We hope that all visitors, competitors, trade stands and exhibitors will join us next year on Wednesday 31st July 2013 for what we all hope will be a spectacular event with plenty of summer sunshine.
