Another record year for the Sheep Entries
We have a variety of sheep at this years show with more exhibitors than in the last few years.
There are 18 different breeds being exhibited including OUESSANT, WARTBLES, DORPERS, BLUE TEXEL, HAMPSHIRE and BORDER LEICESTER as well as a fantastic number of entries from the JACOB Sheep which in previous years have been in decline at the show.
Unfortunately the Suffolk and Dorset Classes are in decline this year, this is mainly due to a clash in dates with other events, but we do have some at the show for you so see.
The Young Handler Classes are also well supported again this year.
A sheep shearing demonstration will be taking place at different times through the day, and hopefully the Young farmers will have a bit of a "SHEAR OFF" between clubs. There will also be a spinning display which will mean you will be able to see the whole process from the SHEEP to the FLEECE to the SPINNING of the yarn.
