The Yealmpton Show

Thanks to our top quality local ingredients - magnificent livestock,
bountiful food and drink, a glorious flower and garden marquee

feel, keeping it's traditional agricultural and horticultural roots |

118th Show
- 27th July 2005
What
a day at Devon's friendliest one-day Agricultural Show - with 1
inch of rain in one hour - it nearly became a boating regatta -
however only 6 classes were cancelled and everybody had fun

We ran a wide range of competitive classes - from
the Dog Show to Donkeys, from Pigs to Pigeons and Show Jumping to
Sheep classes
- in a giant slice of rural life |
Lucky the Cattle,
Sheep, and Donkey classes were almost over before the lunchtime
rain. Luckely the Goats, and Homecraft were under cover, even if
everybody was paddling around in surface water!
